3 books each in 2 days

In group work, we made 3 books, each within a time period of 24h – the fastest way I ever produced a book. We managed to structure our way of working together, divided the work between us, and really learned how to work in the fastest way we could. This helped me a lot during my first internship at Arndt Benedikt in Frankfurt.

8 places 8 designers

We had the task of picking out our 8 favorite designers, all of which were to be in 8 different locations. We contacted some of these designers and asked them questions to create an interview section and make a personal connection.

Siwa

mockupsiwa1.jpg

A pocketbook about an oasis in Egypt, historical events, and cultural and artistic features.
The book is a mixture of German, English, and Arabic. Collaboratively made in 2017 with my talented friend Kanzy Hashish.

"Some travelers never came back from the Siwa oasis. This has nothing to do with the dangers of the Egyptian desert – but rather with a place that seems to have come out of a storybook."

And that is a very good description for this very special oasis in Egypt, which was so interesting that we decided to dedicate a paperback to it and take a closer look at Siwa's customs and traditions.
