Skills I used in this project:

  • Usability Design

  • Concept Prototyping

  • User Interface (UI) Design

  • User Interface Development

  • Communication Technology

  • Figma

  • Brand Design

  • Mobile User Experience (UX) Design

  • Visual Design

  • Interaction Design

In this project, I had a role called “UX Spoc” (Single point of contact). My role was to be the gap between Design and Development. I supported the design team in creating wireframes and prototypes and components for specific use cases but also talked a lot to the developers whenever they had questions about the Designs. We worked within the SAFe-Framework in the project and I was also in close contact with project managers, product owners and UX architects which was really interesting because this way of working provided me a good overview on ongoing activities within this omnichannel platform.

Omnichannel retail and marketing have become the standard as customers come to expect personalized but of course this also brings some challenges. There are many teams that don't even know who is working on what, and at some point it was my job to link these teams together a little more and to drive internal processes that otherwise unfortunately took a long time. It's important to maintain an overview for optimal collaboration, if that's possible. The project was a challenge, but I learned a lot and gained important insights and some new skills.
